“Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology” is a branch of medicine that is dedicated to the study and treatment of traumatic and degenerative injuries that affect the musculoskeletal system, which includes bones, joints, ligaments, tendons and muscles.
This service is available at Salar clinic by our surgeon Dr. Joel Gambín, Graduate in Medicine from the Catholic University of Valencia with Master in Sports Traumatology from the Catholic University of San Antonio de Murcia (UCAM). Dr. Gambín has developed his training in institutions such as Marina Baixa Hospital in Villajoyosa, HLA Vistahermosa Hospital in Alicante, CEMTRO Clinic in Madrid, Quirónsalud El Pilar Hospital in Barcelona and Tres Torres Clinic in Barcelona.
Currently, Dr. Joel Gambín is Head of Medical Services at Levante UD football club. In addition, he works as chief surgeon of Knee, Foot and Ankle Department at Ribera Imske Hospital in Valencia.
